Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, the National Mobile Services Provider signed a milestone agreement with Nations Trust Bank PLC recently to provide enhanced services to its valued customers .The agreement was signed by Chairperson, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, Mrs. Leisha De Silva Chandrasena and CEO, Mr. Suren J Amarasekera, with Mr. Zulfiqar Zavahir, Director/CEO, Nations Trust Bank, and Ms Renuka Fernando, Deputy General Manager Consumer Banking at Nations Trust Bank.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Zulfiqar Zavahir, Director/CEO, Nation Trust Bank said, ‘We are delighted to partner with Mobitel, a key player in the telecommunications industry, to usher in greater facilities and convenience to our American Express® Cardmembers.” Adding on, Mr. Suren J. Amarasekera, CEO, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, “As a customer-centric financial institution that is reputed for exceptional customer service, NTB is one the fastest growing banks in the country. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work in close partnership with Nations Trust Bank, and hope to continue to offer innovative customer convenience through this partnership.”

The agreement will provide the convenience of secure online credit services to Mobitel’s valued customers via American Express. This affiliation also enhances the existing excellent relationship between Mobitel and Nations Trust Bank, ensuring greater service to and connectivity with mutual customers and as well as showcasing both corporate entity’s commitment to customer centricity.
