Arrow Sri Lanka Gov. TV Censors Live Program Whilist Broadcast
Media right groups condemns censoring a live TV interview program on government owened Sri Lanka Rupawahini Corporation (SLRC) whilest it was broadcasting, yesterday (04) night.



The censored program was a discussion on recently proposed regulations on private TV stations.

Media organizations claims that Media Minister recieves unnecessary power to control private TV stations by there new regulations.

Meanwhile several petitions were filed in supreme court by media organzations, right groups and TV stations against new regulations.
