Sri Lanka’s IPTV Provider PEO TV recently introduced the first ever TSTV (Time Shifted TV) and VOD (Video on Demand) broadcast platform in Sri Lanka.

The time shift facility is provided only for certain selected channels. The PEOTV VoD Store currently has movies, Tele-dramas, Documentary and Music Videos. Current PEO TV VoD menu categorized as English (Movie, Documentary), Sinhala (Movie, Tele-dramas, and Documentary), Music (C music and M Entertainment) and Government Film unit.

While watching the program customers can use trick play (pause, rewind and forward). When playing VOD or TSTV, system supports Trick play at different speeds. The speed can be 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x.
